The vinyl track function is powered by a high-quality DJ emulation engine, allowing users to perform DJ scratch on their mobile devices with support for effects like Change Tempo, Shift Pitch, and Reverb.

The app enables adjusting the gain of vocal and vinyl tracks to suit different production scenarios efficiently. Soundy also provides good support for professional microphones, ensuring proper management of multi-channel inputs and hardware gain controls.

Users can load music files from iTunes music library or iCloud Drive and select files from other programs to open in Soundy. Additionally, it supports selecting video files from Photos, enabling the extraction of audio tracks losslessly without re-encoding for fast loading.
